Guram has worked as a photographer in Tbilisi since the 1980s. He has also initiated several exhibitions and is the author of various photoalbums and books. He has been actively working to document political, social and everyday life in Georgia. Guram is an eyewitness of many major events of 1989-1991, such as the protests of 9th April 1989. He possesses a unique photo-archive which preserves his colorful memories from these times.
