As a non-profit organization, the “Center for Citizenship Education” (CCE) has been focusing on political education, practical knowledge and values that are essential for the functioning of democracy, the rule of law and a vibrant civil society since 1994. The CCE provides professional training for educators and develops innovative school curricula on the subjects of civic engagement, history, law and economics for Polish schools. Currently, the CCE implements over 25 nationwide educational programs in primary and secondary schools in Poland, and supports around 3000 schools a year. The CCE has been an active partner of the European platform NECE for many years.
